Coming up: BTM Club meeting. We will be discussing all the normal things and of course, the elecitng of the officers. All members are welcome! Stay posted as we will be posting the officers on the page following the meeting.
Forest City has come and gone and we all have to say it went very well. The weather was great, things went well and everybody had a good time. We had a special treat on friday with the camp social. On saturday, we had a lot of public come through. We did the Voyager's games and although not many people participated, those who did had a great time. Also at the camp meeting on saturday, we had a special show by the Clockwork Clown. Sunday came with just as much public. In the end, everything went off without a hitch and we could not be happier.
We are looking forward to the Mike Fink Shoot, which is the 16th and 17th of May, 2009. We will be doing shooting, lots of visiting and the 3rd anual "Who Killed Mike Fink" clue game. This is held at the fort and is a free camp. There is no shooters fee. Hope to see you there!
The work weekend went okay. We were able to get a load of wood into the wood shed. A few of us decided to camp out, but lucked out and got to stay in the log house inside the fort. That was good because Friday night and Saturday, we got six inches of snow.
The clean up date has been moved to the 27th and 28th of April. Please contact us for further details.
Check out the Powder Horn for our article and picture on the cover. It was in the January edition. The December meeting went well. We are planning a clean up weekend April 12th and 13th and will be camping out at the fort. If you can come one day, that would be great, too. We are planning on re-doing the backstop of the gun range this Spring, so we will need all the help we can get. We are looking for members who are willing to run a shoot or to at the Olde Tyme Frolic. If you are interested, please contact Gabi. Remember the Voyager Games? Well... there back. Instead of doing the men's golf Friday night, we will be doing Gabi's version of the games Saturday.
